Why Invest in Real Estate?

Many see the current global financial crisis and the ‘failing’ property markets in the negative light and avoid taking risk of investing in property at this point of time. It’s true that property buyers and investors globally have reservations about putting their money into property and their concerns are quite understandable. But when we compare real estate investment with other forms of investment, we find that even in the present critical situation, property remains is one of the most lucrative businesses. Property markets are falsely being dubbed as ‘failing’, only they are not performing as good as they did a few months back.

There are many reasons why investment in property is still one of the safest investments, but the primary one is the population growth. World’s major property markets such as, UAE, Turkey, Italy, and Brazil etc, remaining immune to the current financial slump, are faring remarkably well and continue to thrive, though at a slower pace than before. These property markets are either financial or tourism centres and population in there is constantly on a rapid surge. Expatriates and tourists in these property hubs constitue a substantial portion of the total populace and are a key cause of the rising demand for property. As all these real estate centres are extremely business-friendly with a few even offering a tax-free environment, those who want to set up their business and also those in search of better employment opportunities gravitate to these countries.

This foreign influx in the shape of businessmen, job searchers, and tourists plays a major part in keeping the property business thriving. Demand for all types of residential and commercial property can only be seen going higher unaffected by the fall that other industries are currently facing. Buying the property, either for self use, or to rent out or resell, is still a safe investment and can bring the owner high margings of profits in a short period of time. Though the slowdown in real estate sector is undeniable, the situation may be a blessing in disguise for the investors and general buyers. As the property prices have lowered, it’s high time for them to invest in property and enjoy the ownership of a property and the fruits it can bear in the near future.

Relocating To Dubai

Every year, Dubai sees an overwhelming 200,000 plus surge in the numbers of its residents. Most of these newcomers relocate mostly for employment and business reasons. More often than not, the movers are abetted by their employers in taking up a suitable residence and accommodation.

But first things first. For getting entry to Dubai, you’ll need a visa if you’re not a national of one of the GCC countries. A visitor’s visa is usually granted without much hassle to a majority of nationalities. The validity of this visa is 60 days that can be extended up to 30 days for a nominal fee.

However, if you plan to move to Dubai on a permanent basis, you will require a residency visa. If your relocation is for employment purpose, your employer may sponsor your permanent visa. In other cases, your residency visa can be sponsored by any of your family members who stays in Dubai as a permanent resident. Another great option for the well-off ones is to purchase Dubai Property because property ownership will enable the proprietor to apply for the residency.

Another concern all the relocating people may have is the cost of living in Dubai. Being a Persian Gulf relocation hotspot, the cost of living in Dubai is still quite low as compared to its western European counterparts such as Bulgaria, Belize and France. Everything from housing, food, clothing, electronics, utilities, transportation etc is still within reach of the average earner in Dubai. So a decent lifestyle in Dubai has not yet become unattainable if not very cost-effective for most of the residents.

Serviced Apartments – The First Choice of Business Travelers

A serviced apartment is a type of furnished, self-contained apartment designed for short-term stays. Serviced apartments usually come equipped with amenities that can be found in a usual home, such as a refrigerator, microwave, cutlery, washer/dryer, TV, and internet access.
Dubai apartments are increasingly becoming popular among business travelers in the UAE, partly because hotel rooms are in very short supply. Serviced apartments are increasingly hosting guests who are staying for shorter periods because they are unable to find rooms somewhere else. The room shortage is also bolstering prices for serviced apartments.
Another major cause why serviced flats are gaining popularity is that they offer the comfortable feel of an apartment. Serviced apartments also provide good value, as guests are getting a suite for the cost of a hotel room. Besides the benefit of paying a lesser room rate, customers can also save money by making their own meals.
